I have a strong love of art, design, and have an uncontrollable urge to create.
I am a bit hyper, I am loud, and talk fast.
I love my husband, my son, and my family.
I love animals, hence the name Hollen Zoo. We have 3 dogs and 4 cats. At one time we had ten animals total. No, we are not hoarders! Would a horder have a spread sheet with their shot records!? My animals are wonderful and have taught me more about being human than any human could.
I have a passion for Virginia Wine.

I hold a MFA from VCU, and an undergraduate degree from Meredith College in Painting. I have a K-12 Certification in Art, and taught elementary art for 6 years.
I left teaching to start my own business, Jackson Sage. A pretty cool skin care company. However, I found that I enjoyed spending time behind the computer programing the website, more than I did selling the soaps and products. I transitioned from Jackson Sage being my full time gig, to this being my full time thing. However, during the transition, I was blessed with the most wonderful amazing creation yet, my Baby Boy!
Because of my background in running a small business for the past 5 years, I understand not only the design needs of my clients but the practical issues. When I design sites you get a website designed for small business, by a small business.

I read this out loud to my husband to double check that I had correctly described myself– and he said “Yup, sounds like you.” He however was watching hockey, and I am pretty certain he thinks I just read him the stats on the Caps.
